SEOUL, May 7 (Yonhap) – S. Korean female vocal duo Davichi’s Kang Min-kyung has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the agency WakeOne on Saturday.
Kang received a rapid antigen test for COVID-19 on Friday morning and tested positive for the coronavirus in the afternoon.
WakeOne said, “Kang Min-kyung has completed her second vaccine shots and currently does not show any special symptoms,” adding, “The singer will halt all schedules while being in quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of healthcare authorities.”
The other member Lee Hae-ri has also been in self-quarantine. While showing no special symptoms, Lee will continue to prioritize her health conditions, according to WakeOne.
The agency added, “The schedules planned for the album, which will be released on May 16, will be held without any change.”
