K-pop boy band NCT 127 becomes first idol host for 'SNL Korea'

SEOUL, Sept. 23 (Yonhap) -- Coupang Play, an online video service hosted by South Korean e-commerce Coupang, announced Thursday that K-pop boy band NCT 127 will be the first idol group to host its own comedy show "SNL Korea."

NCT 127, a sub-unit of the popular K-pop boy band NCT are well-known for its intense music and high-quality performances, will showcase never-seen-before comedy acting and new charms.

SNL Korea, which returned after four years, has been drawing attention from the beginning due to the impressive host lineup including actors Lee Byung-hun, Jo Jung-suk, actress Ha Ji-won and singer Jessi.

Coupang Play is an OTT service for Coupang's "Rocket Wow" members. Anyone who has joined the "Rocket Wow" membership can watch it for free.
