SEOUL, April (Yonhap) -- Min Hee-jin, CEO of ADOR, which houses NewJeans, vehemently refuted allegations of 'attempted usurpation of management rights' raised by Hybe on the 25th, stating, "There was no plan, intention, or execution of usurping management rights."

Min held a press conference this afternoon in Seoul's Seocho-gu, expressing, "I am curious about the intention behind packaging the personal conversations I shared as serious accusations against me," and continued, "I did not betray Hybe; Hybe betrayed me. It's a frame designed to suck me dry and then crush me."

Hybe suspected Min and some ADOR executives of attempting to extract management rights and NewJeans members, prompting them to initiate a sudden audit on the 22nd. Following this, Hybe announced the interim audit results and expressed their intention to report Min to investigative agencies. Hybe presented conversations exchanged via KakaoTalk between Min and ADOR Deputy CEO A as evidence of attempted management usurpation.

Min asserted, "This cannot be considered embezzlement," and stated, "I am only guilty of doing my job well."

She further criticized Hybe, stating, "Hybe, which is trying to oust a successful subsidiary CEO like me, is committing betrayal," and remarked, "The whole series of events feels like an unprecedented farce from my perspective."

Regarding recent controversy surrounding certain remarks attributed to her, Min refuted, "I have never claimed that BTS 'copied' me."
