Chief producer of SM says "KWANGYA is infinite universe of content"

SEOUL, Jan. 1 (Yonhap) -- SM Entertainment's chief producer Lee Soo-man introduced the worldview "KWANGYA," which was recently revealed, as "a space where infinite universe of content without time or space constraints is unveiled.”

Transforming into a captain of the train leaving for the wilderness at the free concert "SM Town 2022 : SMCU Express," which was held online on Jan.1 afternoon, Lee Soo-man said the following.

"KWANGYA is an unknown world where you can meet many artists," adding, "KWANGYA was created by SMCU(SM CULTURE UNIVERSE), a vision that I have envisioned and developed for a long time."

He also mentioned, "SMCU is a concept that encompasses the artist's unique story and the world across virtual and reality," adding, "KWANGYA is a new world that coexists without any boundary with each team's identity."

Lee said, "We are developing this world by naming it 'METAVERSAL ORIGIN STORY.’”

Lee Soo-man greeted the fans by saying, "In KWANGYA, each artist's ‘METAVERSAL ORIGIN STORY’ merges, crosses, and coexists with each other, creating a whole new world through it," adding, "If you know about SMCU KWANGYA and come up with various interpretations and speculations, you are already a family member of SM with Pink Blood."

He expressed pride over the performance on Jan. 1, saying, "It is a performance that contains everything about the ‘METAVERSAL ORIGIN STORY’ that I have dreamed of."
