SEOUL, Feb. 24 (Yonhap) -- The Buan County in North Jeolla Province, South Korea will open a playground exclusively for pets starting next month.
The playground will be set up on the site next to the Seouneun-ri Sports Center in the county, where natural turfs will be planted and amusement facilities for pets such as hurdles and cloud bridges will be installed.
The playground will be open free of charge from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for pets aged 13 or older that have completed the built-in registration. They also must wear leashes in order to enjoy this brand-new facility.
The site will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for facility maintenance, and toilet bags will be provided.
An official from the county said, “We will do our utmost best to manage the facilities professionally so that the pets and users can use them without any discomfort.”
