SEOUL, Sep. 28 (Yonhap) -- Boy band NCT 127’s 3rd regular album has topped Oricon Weekly Chart in Japan, following its No. 3 record on Billboard main album chart.
Their 3rd regular “Sticker,” released on the 17th, marked top rank on Oricon Weekly Album chart based on the data collected between the 20th and the 26th, according to their agency SM Entertainment.
This is their second time ranking 1st place after with their Japanese mini-album “LOVEHOLIC” dropped in February.
“Sticker” renewed the bands record ranking 3rd place on “Billboard 200” announced on the 26th (U.S time). It is the best rank recorded by K-pop albums for this year as well.
The album has entered the UK’s Official Charts as 40th place. The Official Charts is one of the world’s two best known charts with Billboard.
NCT 127, a unit group of SM Entertainment’s large-scale multi-membered boy band NCT, has gained immense popularity overseas especially in the North America.
