Band Mongdol to Release New Single "Fighting" in Collaboration with India’s Trans Effect

SEOUL, July 23 (Yonhap) -- Korean band Mongdol will release a new single titled "Fighting" on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in collaboration with Indian rock band Trans Effect, their agency MY Music announced.

"Fighting" features an upbeat sound that offers both immersion and a hopeful atmosphere. Mongdol took charge of the lyrics and composition, while Trans Effect participated in co-writing and provided featured vocals.

Trans Effect, based in Nagaland, India, is known for blending pop, rock, and electronica. The band gained popularity as a headlining act for two consecutive years at India’s major music festival, the Hornbill Festival.

The two bands are set to release another collaborative track in September, written and composed by Trans Effect and featuring Mongdol, in India. They also plan to hold joint concerts and festival appearances in India in December.
