SEOUL, June 25 (Yonhap) -- Actors Lee Jun-hyuk and Seo Hyun-woo will star in Tving’s new original series, tentatively titled “Even a First-Place Lottery Winner Go to Work,” set to be released next year, according to Tving on Wednesday.
Based on a web novel of the same name, this office drama tells the story of an ordinary and diligent office worker who wins the first prize in the lottery and returns to work with a changed mindset.
Lee Jun-hyuk plays the protagonist Gong Eun-tae, who wins 1.3 billion won and works as a team leader of Sales Team 5 at Hongseong International, having lived a disciplined life in pursuit of normalcy.
Seo Hyun-woo plays Yang Jun-ho, a team member who starts acting out after his junior Gong Eun-tae is promoted ahead of him.
Oh Dae-hwan, known for roles in “The Red Sleeve” and “Mrs. Ok’s Story,” plays Jung Sun-hyuk, the team leader of Sales Team 4 and the company’s unofficial punching bag.
The series will be directed by Yoon Young-bin, known for the film “Gangneung.”
