SEOUL, Mar. 11 (Yonhap) -- YES IM Entertainment, the agency founded by South Korean ballad singer Im Chang-jung, will hold an audition for global idols and pop artists.
The audition will serve as a venue to discover global idols (vocalists, dancers, and rappers) and pop artists (vocalists). Anyone born between 2004 and 2010 is eligible to apply for the global idol categories, while those born between 1999 to 2010 can apply to become the next pop artist.
The agency will be open for online entries until Mar. 21, and those who passed the preliminary examinations will be announced on Apr. 7. The finalists will be selected via second and third face-to-face auditions that will be held next month. All winners will each be receiving a 100-million-won prize money.
