SEOUL, May 26 (Yonhap) -- K-pop group B.A.P’s member Himchan (birth name: Kim Him-chan·32), who is currently on trial for sexual assault, has been sued once again for the same charges.
According to the police on Thursday, Seoul Yongsan Police Station is investigating the matter after securing the CCTV footage.
Himchan has been sued for sexually assaulting two women while drunk at an outdoor staircase in Hannam-dong, Yongsan District on May 17.
The victims claim that Himchan touched their waist and grouped their chests. The women reported the case directly to the police station, and one of the two is said to be a foreigner.
Earlier, Himchan sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s at a guesthouse in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, on July 24, 2018, and has been sentenced to 10 months in prison. The appeal trial is currently underway.
K-pop boy band B.A.P, which debuted in 2012, has practically disbanded as the two members left the group in August 2018 and the exclusive contracts for the remaining members have ended.
