The title song “Drive” is a song that contains the singer’s ambitions to go straight ahead without being disturbed while maintaining her own style.
She said regarding the song, “It is a promise to myself as a solo artist as well as supporting messages to myself during difficult times.
The ballad song “Shower,” which is the last track, is a song composed and presented by the group’s member Yuqi. Mi-yeon participated in writing lyrics for the first time through this song.
Mi-yeon, who debuted as a member of (G)I-dle in 2018, has showed off her talents as a vocalist by participating in various soundtracks other than team performances. The singer also displayed her popularity as the title song “TOMBOY” of (G)I-dle’s first full album topped diverse music charts.
Mi-yeon said, “The solo album is far from the music (G)I-dle has shown or the music I have sung so far,” adding, “This time, I wanted to show music much different from the group’s songs, so I avoided the music I have done so far.”
She also mentioned, "I wanted to include Mi-yeon herself in this album. I wanted to put it all in, but I don't know if I did it well,” adding, "I hope you become relaxed while listening to the song and enjoy it, and I wish I can become a singer who gives comfort."
