SEOUL October 12 (Yonhap) -- Asian Project Market which was held for 3 days from Oct 9 to Oct 11 has announced its award winners on Oct 11 and successfully finished its journey.

Total of 29 different projects from 14 different nations, 13 of the projects were awarded with an opportunity to be converted into an actual film, at the Grand Ballroom of Paradise Hotel Busan on October 11.

Thirteen of the projects picked showed various genres, and production countries.

“Busan Award” which provides 15,000 USD in cash to one selected project chosen from APM official Line-up, Busan Metropolitan City administers additional annual funds, aiming to lend stronger financial support to promising filmmakers participating at APM .

Indonesian project “GASPAR” by director Yosep Anggi Noen was selected as a winner of CJ ENM Award.

"TAICCA Award" sponsored by Taiwan Creative Content Agency was awarded to “Sima’s Song” by director Roya Sadat there for the project was granted 10,000 USD.

"MONNEFF Award" which grants 20,000 USD to post production services and facilities was given to “Loop Out” by director Kim Dukjoong.

Moreover, other than the “ARRI Award” which was given to two of the projects, “Lotte Award,” “KB Award,” “Sørfond Award” was given one of each to various projects. As a result those award wining projects will be supported with developmental fees, rental fees and supported in various different ways.

Throughout the Asian Project Market, total of 705 different official business meetings were conducted showcasing its reputation of being the biggest Asian Project Market.

Asian Project Market which will be taking its place throughout the Busan International Film Festival 2022, is a market place for those who work within the film industry and an place of an opportunity for people to advertise their projects to those within the industry.
