SEOUL, Aug. 25 (Yonhap) -- "Designer," a webtoon by Kim Yang-soo, who is also the author of the online comic "My Lawyer, Mr. Jo," will be made into a drama.
Cartoon company JAEDAM MEDIA announced Wednesday that it recently signed a contract with iFilm Corporation to produce a drama for "Designer."
"Designer" became popular with its intriguing story of Yoo-jin, a middle school judo player who breaks down after being administered drugs, becomes a designer who manufactures performance enhancing drugs to revenge on those who ruined his life. The film also won the "Showbox Choice Award" at the 2019 Busan International Film Festival E-IP event.
