SEOUL, Mar. 28 (Yonhap) -- The K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment has dropped the remastered versions of its very first singer Hyun Jin-young’s first to third full-length albums on both domestic and international music platforms.
The singer, who is reckoned as the pioneer of K-pop who introduced hip-hop and rap to South Korea, has a slew of hit songs, including “Sad Mannequin” (literal translation), “You In My Faded Memories,” and “Pitapat” (literal translation). The singer will be rolling out his sensational songs once again with improved sound quality.
This project is part of the “Remastering Project” that has been carried out by his agency with the aim of improving the quality of music videos and records released more than 20 years by its first-generation artists.
