EVERGLOW blasts 'All My Girls' comeback stage after long hiatus

SEOUL, Aug. 18 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group EVERGLOW returned Friday with fourth mini album “All My Girls” after a hiatus of 1 year and 8 months, glowing with fierce confidence.

Since their debut in 2019, EVERGLOW has garnered the love of global K-pop fans with numerous labels like "irreplaceable performance," "dance sensation," "concept artisans," and "girl power."

Shi-hyeon, EVERGLOW’s leader, said she had hard time during the hiatus.

“I had some hard time, thinking what more I needed to work on, what I still lacked… Eventually, I wished that our fans would later think their waiting was worth it,” she said.

“During the long gap, we took longer time practicing… (Out of 100,) we scored 90 percent in this showcase. We’ll make up for the remaining 10 percent through our comeback activities,” said Yiren, the only Chinese national of the K-pop sextet,

Their three-song album shows off EVERGLOW’s signature addictive melodies and precise group performance with K-pop vibe.

The album includes title track "Slay," a dance pop with powerful beat, as well as mid-tempo R&B pop “Oh Ma Ma God” and mellow acoustic pop “Make Me Feel.”

The album embodies the group’s self-driven narrative of carving out its own path and becoming a vocal presenter of women and their era.

All My Girls will be released at 6 p.m. online.
