Kaufman debuted through Opera "La traviata" at New York Metropolitan Opera House in 2006 and has been actively working as the most wanted Tenor among world famous opera theaters. He temporary went on a hiatus due to a disease in his vocal cords last Sept., but is once again having a career year, winning Opus "Singer of the Year" at Opus.

Berlin Phil and Kaufman led by Petrenko will present representative works of masters who led the movement of Italian opera in the 19th century. Vienna Philharmoniker's New Year concert, which will be screened at 7 p.m. on Jan. 2, is a historic classical concert held on New Year every year since 1941, and has established itself as a global event that plays the lively repertoire of the Johann Strauss family.

Vienna Philharmoniker's New Year concert held at the Golden Hall in Vienna, Austria, has a tradition of not having a permanent conductor for the independence of the orchestra.

Austrian master of Orchestra, Franz Belzermost will conduct the concert.

Belzermost is a student of Herbert von Karajan and known as the best maestro from Australia after Karaian. He has been continuing close relationship with Vienna Philharmonker through Summer Concert, Salzburg festival, and regular concerts and led the orchestra at a concert in Korea last month. Belzermost is conducting the orchestra's New Year concert for the third time, after 2011 and 2013.

In addition to the Strauss family's songs, he will perform songs by composers Franz von Juppe and Joseph Helmsberger. The Vienna Girls' Choir and the Vienna Boys' Choir will appear together to present a special stage.
