SEOUL, Sept. 13 (Yonhap) -- Actress Lee Yeon-hee (36) has given birth to a daughter, four years after getting married.
On the 13th, her agency, Saram Entertainment, announced, "Lee Yeon-hee gave birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Seoul on the 11th. Both the mother and child are in good health and are currently resting under the warm care of their family."
Lee Yeon-hee first entered the entertainment industry in 2001 after winning the grand prize at the 2nd SM Youth Best Contest. She debuted as an actress in 2004, playing the role of young Kim Jung-hwa in the KBS 2TV drama Emperor of the Sea.
Since then, she has appeared in several dramas, including One Fine Day (2006), East of Eden (2008), Miss Korea (2013), and The Package (2017). Last year, she portrayed a passionate marketing professional in the Disney+ original series Race.
Lee Yeon-hee married a non-celebrity in June 2020. At the time, she shared a handwritten letter with her fans, announcing her marriage and stating, "I have met someone I want to spend my life with."
