'Tomorrow's National Singer' donates about 170 million won from the profit of voting texts

SEOUL, Apr. 13 (Yonhap) -- TV Chosun announced on the 13th that it donated 175,683,722 won from the audition program 'Tomorrow's National Singer' from the profit of voting texts for the final round to the Community Chest of Korea.

The money donated will be used to fund projects that support children who have reached the end of their protection.

TV Chosun has previously donated a total of 780 million won to the Community Chest of Korea from the voting through texts for the finals of the trot (genre of Korean music) audition programs including "Tomorrow Is Mr. Trot" and "Tomorrow Is Miss Trot 2."
