SEOUL, Dec. 8 (Yonhap) -- Solo singer Jay B from GOT7’s total amount of donation for children has exceeded 100 million won, his management agency H1gher Music announced Wednesday.
The singer joined the Green Noble Club, a group of large donors of the Child Fund Korea.
He first met the foundation in 2018 when GOT7 was appointed as a promotional ambassador for a contest. Since then, he has been constantly donating for the children.
The singer surpassed 100 million won of contribution by donating the profit yielded from selling MDs he made with photos he took. The contributed money is used to support families in difficulty due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection and abused children.
“I could make such a large donation thanks to the fans’ love. This participation in donation is even as I did it with the fans not alone."
