SEOUL, Jan. 17 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group ASTRO’s Jinjin and Rocky will release their first mini album “Restore” on Jan. 17 at 6 p.m.
It is ASTRO’s second release of the unit album, following Moon-bin and San-ha in September, 2020.
Jinjin and Rocky, who have actively performed as a main rapper and dancer, showed off their musical talents by participating in composing, writing lyrics, and producing all of the songs in the album.
Along with the title song “Just Breath,” a total of 5 songs, including “Lazy,” “Lock down,” “Complete Me,” and “CPR,” contain music that Jinjin and Rocky have always thought of.
Ahead of the release of the album, Jinjin mentioned that this unit performance is the “second debut,” adding, “We tried to show a cheerful mood that you could not find from our team performances.”

Jinjin said, “When composing the song, I sighed when Rocky asked ‘How have you been.’ That sigh became our keyword. We naturally thought ‘I want to breathe’ once we saw outside and found people wearing masks.”
Rocky said, “It is a song that makes you feel refreshed right away,” adding, “We put our heart and soul into the album to refresh people.”
Jinjin talked about their harmony, “We had many opportunities to perform together since we were trainees. Our harmony has been prepared for almost 10 years,” and Rocky added while laughing, “I have never been this confident.”
“The title of the mini album is ‘Restore,’ which means to recover. I wish people could get energy from our song. I hope everyone could relate to the feeling of ‘Let’s breathe’ and enjoy the song.” (Rocky)
