SEOUL, Aug. 20 (Yonhap) -- K-pop duo TVXQ will be debuting as a fairy tale writer.
TS Network and Grooo Partners, the organizers of TVXQ's fairy tale book production project, "Check This Out," announced on their official website that they will release member U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin's versions of fairy tales. The official publication date will be Oct. 20.
The duo based the stories on their special childhood journey as well as writing and drawing the fairy tale themsevles.
U-Know Yunho's version is titled "I was the youngest one," where the singer tells his story of growth, while Max Changmin's "All the friends I've met" was inspired by lovely animals the singer has interacted with.
In the author's note, TVXQ said, "Through this journey, we were able to feel the same sense of innocence from our childhood, which had been lost after we were focused on being 'adults.' We hope this book helps readers find one's own innocence as well."
TVXQ's fairy tale production is being documented on a web entertainment show called "Check This Out," which consists of 10 episodes. The first and second episodes, which have already been released earlier on, can be watched on YouTube and Naver TV.
Meanwhile, U-Know Yunho was embroiled in controversy in February after he was found at an unauthorized entertainment bar until midnight and charged for violated the COVID-19 social distancing rules.
