SEOUL, Sept. 26 (Yonhap) -- The KBS 'Music Bank in Madrid' concert, which had its original venue booking canceled unilaterally, will proceed on the same date at a new location.
The production team of KBS 'Music Bank' announced on the 26th that the concert will now take place on November 12 at 'Auditorio Miguel Ríos' in Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Spain.
Rivas-Vaciamadrid is located in the Madrid autonomous region, southeast of the city of Madrid. The production team stated, "After conducting an on-site inspection and reviewing the conditions, we have determined that the concert can be held there." They also expressed gratitude to the K-pop artists who agreed to perform despite the sudden venue change, to keep their promise to fans.
Initially, KBS had planned to hold the concert at the home stadium of the famous football club Real Madrid. However, on the 13th, the club announced through local media in Spain that all music performances scheduled at the stadium until March next year were canceled due to noise complaints from nearby residents.
