SEOUL November 02 (Yonhap) -- “Silla Cultural Festival & Silla Academic Festival” will be hosted by Research Institute for Silla Culture of Dongguk University will be held at Gyeongju Natonal Museum on November 4.
Academic festival will be hosted under the theme of “Sacheonwangsa Temple and Nangsan Mountain” where people go over the current status of their research and share information.
Sacheonwangsa Temple which is presumed to have existed in Nangsan Mountain located in Gyeongju city from the Unified Silla period.
Research Institute for Silla Culture started their excavation investigation since 2006 and found out that the temple is built using the one Guemdang Hall with two pagodas pattern, also they figured out the location of buildings and the scale of the temple.
Throughout the Academic Festival, experts from various fields will participate and debate over the topic of Sacheonwangsa Temple, the historical meaning it holds and more.
