JEUNGPYEONG, June 15 (Yonhap) -- Along the river of Bogangcheon Park, known to be a resting place for residents of Jeungpyeong County, fully bloomed and colorful crape myrtles welcome visitors and brighten up the park.
Jeungpyeong county planted a whopping 50,000 crape myrtles to create a flowery path within the Bogangcheon Park.
Crape myrtles are expected to peak next month.
An official from Jeungpyeong county said, "We will be creating a flower path with seasonal flowers from spring to fall in order to make Bogangcheon Park a tourist attraction."
