SEOUL, Aug. 13 (Yonhap) -- What songs are included in the ‘Tokyo Olympic heroes’’s playlists?

Music playlists of Jun Woong-tae, the first Korean medal winner for the Men’s Pentathlon, and judo player, Kang Yu-jeong who astonished the watchers by shaving her head to show her spirits for the games, are to be exclusively released on Melon, according to the music platform Friday.

Jun’s playlist revealed on Melon’s website and application included songs of Korean hip hop musicians such as ASH ISLAND, Changmo and The Quiett. The playlist consisted of songs that the player frequently listened to during interval trainings.

Kang’s playlist contained multiple OSTs of tvN series “Hospital Playlist,” which gained popularity for its reinterpretation of past hit songs. Also, her music list included songs of MBC “Hang Out with Yoo”’s project vocal group MSG Wannabe.

Melon is releasing playlists of short track speed skater Shim Suk-hee, snowboarders Lee Sang-ho·Lee Min-sik·Choi Bo-gun and speed skater Park Do-yeong as well.

“We prepared the playlists to provide our users with the opportunity to listen to the celebrities’ music and communicate with the heroes through music, who are spreading positive energy from various fields,” said an official from Melon.
