K-pop boy band NCT 127 opens world tour with spectacular performances in Seoul

SEOUL, Dec. 19 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy band NCT 127 opened its world tour with the "NEO CITY: SEOUL - THE LINK” concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Sunday afternoon.

The nonet performed at the dome for three consecutive days from Dec. 17 while fans around the world cheered on for the group.

In particular, this performance was meaningful as the K-pop act was able to perform at Gocheok Sky Dome for the first time in a year and 11 months since the new coronavirus outbreak.

The nine members appeared in white costumes and started the concert by performing "Kick It," the lead single of NCT 127's second album "Neo Zone" with spectacular martial arts performances.

The band then heated the concert atmosphere by dancing and singing its more upbeat songs such as "Lemonade" and "Earthquake."

SM Entertainment, NCT 127's agency, plans to further announce the group's world tour schedules in major cities around the world in the future.
