Ex-PPP floor leader spared arrest

Choo Kyung-ho (C), former floor leader of the main opposition People Power Party, is released from the Seoul Detention Center in Uiwang, south of Seoul, on Dec. 3, 2025, after a court rejected an arrest warrant that special counsel Cho Eun-suk's team had sought for him over allegations that he obstructed lawmakers from participating in a vote to revoke former President Yoon Suk Yeol's Dec. 3 martial law declaration.
