U.S. Embassy to hold tech camp for youth in Seoul
SEOUL, Oct. 30 (Yonhap) -- The U.S. Embassy in Seoul said Wednesday it is hosting a tech camp for young South Koreans, featuring sessions on the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
The "TechCamp Korea 2024," set for a four-day run beginning Thursday, will invite 50 young adults, including college students, professionals and startup entrepreneurs to sessions that will be led by five speakers from top global companies, as well as two Korean AI experts, the embassy said in a press release.
Participants will take part in training sessions and team discussions related to safe and ethical use of AI and building a secure AI ecosystem, among other topics, the embassy said.
The event is a global leadership camp organized by the U.S. State Department, and it will be held in Seoul for the first time.
