Kim Soo-hyun files new stalking lawsuit against YouTuber

SEOUL, April 2 (Yonhap) -- Actor Kim Soo-hyun has filed a new lawsuit against a YouTuber who raised underage dating allegations against him for stalking, the actor's legal representative said Wednesday.

LKB & Partners said the lawsuit lodged against Kim Se-ui, the operator of Hoverlab, was intended to stop him from making "groundless" claims repeatedly and hold him accountable for such acts.

The latest legal action came two days after the actor held a tearful press conference, strongly denying the allegations that he had a romantic relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron when she was still a minor.

At the conference, he questioned the authenticity of the photos and KakaoTalk messages presented as evidence backing the allegations, calling them fabricated.

The lawsuit follows Kim's earlier legal complaints against the YouTuber and the actress' bereaved family for releasing a photo of him without trousers and threatening him. Earlier this week, he also sought 12 billion won (US$8.14 million) in damages.
