Rose's 'APT.' remains No. 2 on British Official Singles Chart for 4th week
SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) -- "APT.," the latest single from BLACKPINK member Rose, held its No. 2 position on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100 for the fourth consecutive week.
It remained in second place just behind Lola Young' "Messy," according to the latest chart released Friday (British time).
Initially debuting at No. 4 in October last year, "APT." has experienced a roller-coaster journey on the chart.
After dropping to a low of No. 28, the single made an impressive comeback, climbing to the No. 2 spot and holding steady for four weeks.
"APT." is a prerelease single from Rose's first solo full-length album, "rosie," which dropped Dec. 6.
The upbeat pop-punk track, inspired by a popular Korean drinking game known as the "apartment game," has gained international popularity with its catchy chorus that repeatedly features the word "apartment," pronounced as "apateu," a Korean abbreviation of the word.
Jimin's "Who" ranked seventh in its 21st week on the chart, rising sixth spots from the previous week.
"Who" is a hip-hop and R&B genre song depicting a poignant situation where the speaker misses someone he has never met before.
It is the lead track of the BTS member's second solo album, "Muse," which explores the singer's search for inspiration.
