Minor opposition seeking Yoon's impeachment

Cho Kuk (C), head of the minor opposition Rebuilding Korea Party, announces plans to submit a bill to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol during a meeting of the party's lawmakers at the National Assembly in Seoul on Dec. 4, 2024. The move came in response to Yoon's declaration of emergency martial law the previous night, citing the need to root out pro-North Korean forces and uphold the constitutional order. (Yonhap)
