SEOUL, June 28 (Yonhap) -- World-class supermodel Park Soo-joo made
her debut in the music industry under the name Ether by releasing a cover of a
Korean rock song "Haenim" on June 25, according to the model's agency
Esteem Entertainment.
"Haenim" was originally written and composed by Shin Jung-hyeon, also
known as Korea's "Godfather of Rock" and sung by psychedelic rock
singer Kim Jung-mi. Park's reinterpreted version of "Haenim" is
performed with Canadian electronic music band, Desire.
The Korean-American model who sang "Haenim" in a moody, dreamy-like
voice, was inspired by Kim Jung-mi's alluring voice and the simple acoustic
guitar sound, which gave the song a psychedelic, warm, and euphoric sentiment. Park
also starred as the main star of her music video.
Both the song and music video of "Haenim" can be found on the official
YouTube channel of "Italians Do It Better Music," an independent
record label.
Park has also announced to continue her music projects as Ether in the near
future.
