Yangpyeong municipality raided over controversial expressway project

Investigators from Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency carry items from the building of the Yangpyeong municipality, south of Seoul, on May 16, 2025, following a search related to an allegation that former Land Minister Won Hee-ryong changed the route of a capital area expressway to benefit the family of former first lady Kim Keon Hee.
