Ferry passengers rescued off S. Korea's southwestern coast

Investigators from the Coast Guard examine the damaged hull of the Queen Jenuvia II ferry moored at a pier in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, southwestern South Korea, on Nov. 20, 2025, after it ran aground the previous day at the uninhabited islet of Jok near Jangsan Island off the coast of Sinan in the province. All 267 passengers and crew members were safely rescued, with investigators giving weight to errors in navigation as a potential cause of the accident. (Yonhap)
