Holidaymakers board buses at Seoul Express Bus Terminal to travel outside the capital to their hometowns on Oct. 2, 2025, the eve of a seven-day break for Chuseok, the Korean harvest holiday that falls on Oct. 6 this year and is a time for family reunions, with Koreans traditionally offering a ritual feast to their ancestors on Aug. 15 of the lunar calendar.
