SEOUL, June 3 (Yonhap) -- South Korean video game giant Krafton Inc. announced on Thursday that the number of pre-registrations for "Battleground Mobile India" exceeded 20 million in two weeks since the pre-orders started on May 18th.
Since the global service of "Battleground Mobile" is handled by China's Tencent, the services in India has been suspended last September due to a border dispute between India and China.
In order to resolve this conflict, Krafton decided to provide "Battleground Mobile" services directly to India.
The release date of "Battleground Mobile India," which is scheduled to be serviced free of charge, has not been decided yet.
