Hey guys! I'm Sumi Yu from Korea Now. K-pop has never been this popular in the global music market.
Especially this year, BTS made it to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the first South Korean artist to top the chart. BLACKPINK's documentary on Netflix went viral globally. It shows how much Korean pop music has grown. However, to Koreans, K-pop is not confined to just boy and girl group music.
