No more skirts & pants in restroom signs, will it prevent gender stereotyping?

For the past few years, people have voiced that restroom signs showing women in skirts were sexist and pointed out the need for alternative female figures. A picture of a new sign became the talk of the town in Korea as soon as it was posted online last month.
The controversial picture showed a simplified restroom sign at the Seoul Metropolitan Institute for Lifelong Education.
the institute said they chose the design to break away from gender stereotypes and gender discrimination.
