Beloved military TV show host Lee Sang-yong dies

Lee Sang-yong, a well-known TV personality who long served as host of a popular entertainment program for soldiers, emcees an event in Seoul, in this file photo dated May 4, 2009. Lee died on May 9, 2025, at age 81 following cardiac arrest, his agency said. (Yonhap)
