SEOUL, Sept. 20 (Yonhap) -- Actors Lee Sang-yi and Han Ji-hyun are set to star in the new fantasy romance drama, tentatively titled "The Boss's Meal Plan," which will be released next month.
On the 19th, Tving announced that it will premiere the first two episodes of its original series The Boss's Meal Plan on November 3. The drama is a spin-off based on the web novel of the same name featured in the ongoing tvN-Tving drama Not Wanting to Lose.
The Boss's Meal Plan follows the story of web novel writer Nam Ja-yeon, who becomes possessed by the female protagonist of her own story, Seo Yeon-seo, and finds herself meeting the perfect male lead, Kang Ha-jun.
Han Ji-hyun plays a dual role as Nam Ja-yeon, the web novel writer who has never been in a relationship, and Seo Yeon-seo, the nutritionist from her story. Lee Sang-yi stars as Kang Ha-jun, the flawless male lead from the novel.
Both Lee Sang-yi and Han Ji-hyun also appear in Not Wanting to Lose, portraying Bok Kyu-hyun and Nam Ja-yeon, respectively.
Directed by Jung Hoon and written by Jo Min-jung, The Boss's Meal Plan is produced by creator Kim Hye-young, who is also behind No Gain No Love.
