SEOUL, Aug. 21 (Yonhap) -- Animated film "Heartsping," based on the popular Korean series "Catch! Teenieping," has garnered significant popularity, leading to the organization of sing-along screenings where audiences can sing together with the characters.
Distributor Showbox announced on the 20th that starting from the 21st, special "Sing with Heartsping" screenings will be held at Lotte Cinema locations nationwide.
These special screenings will feature the lights on in the theater, allowing viewers to stand up and sing along with the movie's characters. Fans can belt out songs like the original soundtrack (OST) "At First Sight," performed by aespa's Winter, as well as "My Heart Beats" and "I'm Coming to You," which are sung by the film's protagonist, Romi.

Additionally, a meet-and-greet with popera singer Song Eun-hye, who provides the singing voice for Romi, will be held. On the 25th, at Lotte Cinema World Tower, Konkuk University, and Cheongnyangni branches in Seoul, Song Eun-hye and a Heartsping costume character will greet the audience on stage.
On the same day, CGV Starfield City Wirye will host an event titled "High Five Pingterview," where the Heartsping mascot will meet fans, host a quiz show, and engage in a high-five session with the audience.
Heartsping is the first feature-length film based on the beloved Korean children's animation series Catch! Teenieping. Since its release on the 7th, the movie has attracted a cumulative audience of 678,906 as of the 19th.
