IVE Completes Debut Performance at Lollapalooza Chicago with Rock Versions

SEOUL, Aug. 5 (Yonhap) -- IVE performed at the American music festival "Lollapalooza Chicago" held at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, on the 3rd (local time), according to their agency, Starship Entertainment, on the 4th.

In their first appearance at Lollapalooza, IVE opened their set with "I AM," followed by performances of "Baddie," "ELEVEN," "LOVE DIVE," and a total of 11 songs over approximately 45 minutes. Accompanied by a live band, IVE showcased unique charm by rearranging "ROYAL" and "Accendio" into rock versions.

IVE engaged with the audience with bright smiles, exchanging greetings freely, prompting responses, and leading sing-alongs, effortlessly commanding the stage. They heightened the atmosphere with powerful performances of "HEYA" and "After LIKE," concluding their debut at Lollapalooza with their first English single, "All Night."

Ahn Yujin expressed her thoughts through the agency, stating, "We went on stage with the goal of showcasing everything we prepared with the band members and the choreography team. Thanks to the enthusiastic reception from DIVE (IVE's fandom) and the audience, we were able to perform successfully." She added, "It was a wonderful experience. We will repay everyone with great performances at the upcoming encore concert."

Lollapalooza, a large-scale music festival that began in Chicago in 1991, encompasses various popular music genres including pop and rock.

IVE will hold their world tour encore concert "SHOW WHAT I HAVE" on the 10th and 11th of this month at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul. They will also perform at the "SUMMER SONIC 2024" music festival in Osaka on the 17th and in Tokyo on the 18th.
