SEOUL, Nov. 16 (Yonhap) -- Korean-American pop singer AleXa will hold a metaverse (a 3-D virtual world) fan meeting on Nov. 21 for the first time among K-pop singers, her management agency ZB Label announced Monday.
The fan meeting will be hosted within the video action game "Scavengers."
"This event will be the first K-pop metaverse fan meeting held for tens of thousands of people," ZB Label said. "Fans can talk to AleXa, who will be attending as an avatar, watch her performance, and wave their light sticks to cheer for AleXa."
After appearing on Mnet's audition show "Produce 48" in 2018, AleXa made her debut with "Bomb" in 2019. Last year, the singer signed an agent contract with an American talent agency, ICM Partners, and started global activities.
