Block B’s P.O to enlist in Marine Corps on Mar. 28

SEOUL, Feb. 11(Yonhap) – S. Korean singer and actor P.O(29) officially enlisted in the Marine Corps to fulfill his mandatory military service.

The agency Artist Company said on Feb. 10, “P.O has recently been accepted into the Marine Corps,” adding, “He will start his mandatory military service on Mar. 28.”

P.O, who debuted as a member of Block B in 2011, has performed as an actor by starring in the dramas “Encounter,” “Hotel Del Luna,” and “Mouse.” He also appeared in diverse entertainment shows, such as “New Journey to the West,” “Amazing Saturday,” “Kang’s Kitchen,” and “Great Escape.”

P.O also performed on theater stages through “Almost Maine” and “Play Back,” and announced his future career as an actor by signing an exclusive contract with Artist Company founded by Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung.
