BLACKPINK to participate in Charity Event held by Bridgitte Macron

SEOUL January 16 (Yonhap) -- K-pop superstar girl group BLACKPINK will be revisiting France within a month and a half since the group successful finished their concert in Paris.

BLACKPINK will be visiting France in order to take part in the Bridgitte Macron wife of president of France, Emmanuel Macron’s charity concert.

According to the lineup released on January 25 (French time) for the charity event held by the French hospital organization led by Bridgitte Macron, BLACKPINK was included.

BLACKPINK is expected to greet their fans at the Parc De La Villette, located within Paris and take the stage.

The charity event will take place in between group’s upcoming concert in Saudi Arabia on January 20, UAE’s concert on January 28.

K-pop superstar BLACKPINK is currently participating in their world tour to meet up with over 1.5 million fans.

Bridgitte Macron was spotted at BLACKPINK’s Europe tour in December of 2022, among group’s fans which drew a lot of attention.

Poster revealed for the upcoming charity concert included BALCKPINK, Pharrell Williams, MIKA and various globally well known stars.

Concert tick was sold at 15 Euros per ticket, and it was offered at the scene of 16 of the Carefours which is sponsoring the upcoming event.

According to Carefour, the money made by selling the tickets to the concert will be fully donated to the French Hospital Organization.

French Hospital Organization have been working very hard and hosting fundraising events every year to help out the kids who are staying at the hospital since 1989.

Main goal of the fundraising event is to collect money to support and to provide better environment for the kids segment of the hospital.

Bridgitte Macron is a successor of the organization after she was inherited of the position from former first lady Bernadette Chirac on 2019.
