SEOUL, April 27 (Yonhap) -- The Korean Cultural Center New York will host a K-pop stage “Korea Gayoje” with City Parks Foundation on July 10, 2022, at the outdoor venue Summerstage, Central Park, in New York.

Girl group Brave Girls, boy group Golden Child, and K-pop solo artist AleXa from Oklahoma will participate in the Gayoje (meaning: music festival) which is hosted to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the Republic of Korea (ROK)-U.S. diplomatic relations.

Brave Girls will perform the 2017 single “Rollin” which had a viral breakout last year and other tracks including "We Ride," "High Heels," and "Chi Mat Ba Ram." The girl group also prepared a special song for global fans. Golden Child will take the stage with “DDARA,” “OASIS,” and perform sharp dance moves.

The Korea Gayoje, opening for the third time this year, will be hosted as one of the official programs of the City Parks Foundation’s Summerstage.

Since its inception in 1987, Summerstage is an outdoor performing arts festival representing New York. The festival presents music concerts spanning all genres, in New York City's parks every year.

This year’s Korea Gayoje will be on a free first-come, first-served basis. For more information, check out the Korean Cultural Center NY website, Facebook, and Instagram.
