SEOUL, April 14 (Yonhap) -- Group SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan (birth name: Yoon Jeong-han) has tested positive for COVID-19.

“Jeonghan was confirmed with COVID-19 through a rapid antigen test,” announced agency Pledis Entertainment on fan community platform Weverse, Wednesday.

It was confirmed that Jeonghan tested after receiving a positive result for the self-diagnosis kit that afternoon.

Currently, he has a sore throat and mild cough and is undergoing home treatment.

The agency said, "Jeonghan had contact with Mingyu and Vernon for a while today, but they all wore masks, so there was no close contact." "The other members have no symptoms."

"Jeonghan will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN's future schedule for the time being," the entertainment company added. "We will put the health of the artists first and do our best for treatment and recovery."

This is the 10th time out of SEVENTEEN's 13 members to have been confirmed with COVID-19.

Wonwoo, Vernon, Hoshi, S.Coups, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, The 8, Joshua, and Jun have been infected and recovered from COVID-19.
