SEOUL, October 5 (Yonhap) -- Busan Metropolitan City announced that an on-site inspection at Busan Asiad Main Stadium will be carried out as the BTS concert, which is held to support the city's bid to host the 2030 World Expo, is coming up in ten days.
In the presence of Lee Byung-jin, the Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs of Busan City, and the head of the BTS Busan Concert's general support team, and HYBE officials from BTS' agency, an inspection focused on the safety concerns of the audience route and reviewing assigned security guards and tasks will be held.
The city is also holding a launching ceremony for the "Warm Greetings for Everyone Campaign" with the volunteer organization at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium and repair the surroundings of the main tourist attractions around the city.
Guides and translators will be arranged in main routes of the Busan Station, Gimhae Airport, and transferring subway stations on the day of the concert to help visitors from abroad, and also will hold activities to attract visitors for the 2030 World Expo.
Prior to the on-site inspection, the fifth inspection meeting will be held at the Busan City Hall to go through the last preparation stage overall.
The city will be working in collaboration with the police, firefighters, and more related organizations, and will start operating a general situation room on October 14, the day before the concert.
