Actress Jung Chae-yeon who is also known as a singer participated in the production of the recently ended MBC series, “The Golden Spoon” as Na Joo-hee.
“Na Joo-hee is a character who wants financial independence from her father’s wealth.” addressed actress Jung Chae-yeon at the BH Entertainment located in Gangnam district, Seoul on Tuesday.
“Although some might disagree and look badly upon her decision to find financial independence from her father’s wealth, Na Joo-hee dreams of breaking free from the ‘Cage.’” announced Jung Chae-yeon.
South Korean drama series “The Golden Spoon” deals with a high school student who gets hold of a golden spoon which has an ability to switch lives with a wealthy person.
Although the character Na Joo-hee was raised by her father who believes money can bring happiness, therefore she had no problem growing up as a kid, however she dreams of living the normal life. Instead of getting in a relationship with Hwang Tae-yong acted by Lee Jong-won, a successor of conglomerate Doshin group, Joo-hee falls for Lee Seung-cheon, acted by Yook Sung-jae.
When protagonist Lee Seung-cheon uses the golden spoon to flip his life with Hwang Tae-yong, Joo-hee becomes very confused with her mind.
