The Hallyu Expo has been held every year since 2010. However, it is the first time in three years to be held face-to-face since COVID-19 happened.

In the opening performance of the day, ambassadors such as singer Kim Se-jeong, boy group WINNER, and the rookie idol group BLANK2Y performed to liven up the atmosphere of the event.

In addition, e-learning content, medical services, and eco-friendly two-wheeled vehicles were displayed in the exhibition hall prepared on site.

An event was also held in which an electric tricycle manufactured with its own technology was donated to the Agriculture Science Institute of Northern Central Vietnam (ASINCV), and the promotional ambassadors donated the proceeds from the sale of autographed T-shirts to the Vietnam Red Cross.

"We will strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries by expanding the ripple effect of the Korean Wave in Vietnam to not only consumer goods but also various fields, including services and eco-friendly industries," said Yu Jeoung-yeol, CEO of KOTRA.

Meanwhile, the '2030 Busan Expo Promotion Promotion Hall' was installed at the event site, attracting the attention of Vietnamese government officials and Southeast Asian entrepreneurs.

In addition, a makeup show with Hallyu star stylists and a Korean food tasting event will be held during the period of the event.
